Once the necessary repairs were made to our home's framing structure and visual aesthetic (*observe the beautiful walnut ship lap encasing the NanaWall door -- see future post*), my wife and I discovered an unsightly streak running down the middle of EVERY ONE of our new NanaWall glass panes. These streaks are hard to photograph. They became apparent after all the manufacturing stickers were removed and glass professionally cleaned. We made numerous attempts to remove it ourselves, but to no avail. The contractor also tried their best, but the stubborn streak remained. This streak was on the inside. Now, we found ourselves facing a new challenge - the task of replacing each and every one of our custom luxury windows, which had cost us a whopping $80,000. This unexpected setback was undoubtedly frustrating, but we were determined to restore the pristine beauty of our home. Unfortunately, the replacement windows also had the same defect. A few of the custom made replacement panes arrived in the incorrect size. These did not have the visual defect, but one of them did arrive scratched.
